HOUSE RULES

 

Dear Guest,

At Villa Maresme we would like to guarantee a safe and pleasant stay to all our guests. Please take a look at our house rules to help us create this enjoyable environment. You can find our lease rent contact here

Check-In / -Out

Check-In time is from 4.00 P.M. on the day of arrival / Check-Out time is before 10.00 A.M. on the day of departure. A valid ID must be presented at check-in. Check-in is only possible for persons older than 18 years. We will hand you the keys during check in. In case of loss of the keys we will charge €150. In the event of damage, loss or destruction of villa properties, immediate removal, liability and / or reporting to the police will result.

Payments

All payments must be done before check-in.

Quiet Time

From 11.00 P.M. to 8.00 A.M. is the period of night rest, so please don’t disturb our neighbours. Please be respectful by keeping noise to a minimum by means of loud music, unsafe behaviour or noise of any kind. Charges will be applied for disturbances to neighbours. 

​

Smoking / drugs

The villa is entirely non-smoking. If smoking occurs during your stay a €150 Cleaning Fee will be charged. Due to the high safety risk for all our guests, a taped or dissembled smoke detector will be fined with an extra charge of € 500,00 and immediate eviction from the villa. If the fire alarm is triggered by smoking in the room, we will charge the callout costs of the fire department of € 300 to you.

The use and possession of drugs is strictly forbidden at the villa (this also applies to laughing gas). When using and dealing in drugs, the management calls in the police and can proceed to remove you from the hotel without refund.

Visitors

It is forbidden to occupy the villa by more than the number of people for whom it is reserved. A maximum of 19 people is allowed to sleep in this villa. If you wish to bring a baby, inform us beforehand so we can place a cot. Children under 12 years are allowed, provided that 1 adult is present. Bringing children / babies is entirely at your own risk.

Luggage

You can store your luggage for free at the villa; please ask our staff. Please note the villa cannot be held responsible for missing, theft or damaged luggage.

Animals

Pets, and animals in general, are not allowed in the hotel.

​

Decoration

It is forbidden to use certain decorations such as confetti. Please ask the staff if your decoration is allowed. Additional cleaning costs or technical defects due to this will be borne by the guest. Light candles / incense in the rooms because of the fire alarm and fire hazard. (The security system is activated immediately).

Leave room / Damage

You are obliged to leave the villa you rented as you found it upon arrival – clean, tidy and undamaged.

If rooms or other parts of the villa are damaged, left extremely dirty, smelling like smoke or vandalized in any other way, guests will be charged with additional cleaning fee, costs of repairs and costs of labor.

Room accessories (pillows, blankets, towels and the like) are not allowed to be taken out of the villa.

Fire

Keep calm in the event of a fire. Immediately leave the villa and report directly at +34 652 547 999 or +31615111773

Pool

There is no lifeguard on duty at our properties, use the pool at your own risk. Young children should not be left at any time unsupervised. The swimming pool does NOT have a fence.Never swim alone. Do not swim under the influence of alcohol. Please keep the pool area tidy, do not leave objects such as toys or towels lying around as someone might trip or fall.

Catering at the Villa

Villa Maresme SL provides catering at the property. Outside catering companies are not permitted.

​

Events

Weddings or events are subject to a €500 fee to cover wear and tear to the property and final cleaning after check-out. The day following an event, it is mandatory that the property be restored to its original condition and furniture moved back in its original position. We can arrange this cleaning for an additional cost.

Your obligations

  1. You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses, bedding and towels in good condition as you found it.

  2. You agree not to cause any damage to the walls, doors or windows of the Property or to do anything that may be reasonably considered to cause a nuisance or annoyance to us or to any other occupier of adjoining or neighbouring properties.

  3. You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence.

  4. You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage).

  5. You cannot allow more people to stay in the Property than expressly authorised, nor can you significantly change the makeup of the party during your stay in the Property unless it has been arranged in advance and it is shown on your confirmation. If you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave it. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancellation of the booking by you.

  6. You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.

Cancellations

We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but if a problem were to occur we may need to make alterations or cancel a booking. If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.

Law

The contract between you and us is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain and we both agree that any dispute, matter or other issue which arises between us will be dealt with by the Courts of Spain.

 

The guest who violates house rules and disturbs the peace will be unconditionally refused accommodation.
