NEW BEGINNINGS: How Art Transforms Villa Maresme into a Living Gallery

Art has found a new home in the hills of Maresme. With the launch of NEW BEGINNINGS, Villa Maresme is stepping into a new chapter—one that blurs the lines between living space and gallery. Organized by two Dutch entrepreneurs with a passion for creativity and connection, this initiative brings fresh energy to the villa while supporting a vibrant community of artists.

Each featured artist brings a unique voice to the exhibition. Helen M. Tate, inspired by nature and Japanese aesthetics, creates calm, contemplative works grounded in her surroundings. Joan Pasqual’s pieces reflect a lifelong dedication to artistic experimentation across painting, ceramics, and poetry. Montse Assens draws on personal and technical experience to craft works full of emotion and texture. Sofía Balut Páez fuses cubism with heartfelt storytelling, shaped by her multicultural journey. Marc Martin Abad blends illustration and design with pictorial expression, creating emotionally rich works. And Sylvia Keijzer, with a deep eye for color and detail, invites us to see beauty in the overlooked.

Together, their works turn Villa Maresme into a space of inspiration and depth—where guests don’t just stay, but feel. This evolving exhibition makes the villa more than a place to rent; it becomes an experience. With NEW BEGINNINGS, art becomes part of the atmosphere, making every visit a little more meaningful.
